They say Charity begins at home…Truly so. Those benevolent at heart, leave no stones unturned in showering generosity to the weak and needy from early days. They find great joy and a deep sense of inner peace to assist someone with financial relief or help of some sort.  Such magnanimous hearts are the ones who are a blessing to organizations like non-profit government organizations. It is the kindness and large-heartedness of such souls, or organizations run by them, that play a pivotal role in sustaining an NGO. However, it takes more than a giving heart to arrange for funds for NGOs. Running a non-profit government organization, that is focused on making contributions towards the welfare of the society, fills us, at Diya Foundation, with a feeling of fulfillment and satisfaction. However, running an NGO in India does come with its own set of challenges and hurdles. Unbelievable as it may seem that work as noble as this, could have hurdles, the truth is that it comes with it
